Building Beautiful Homes
I started building when I was twenty two years old, and fresh out of college. I went skiing in Summit County, Colorado in the winter of 1975. Summit County is 9000 feet above sea level and one of the greatest places to play. I knew I wanted to stay for a while. I bought a hammer in the summer and learned how to use it. Maybe that is one of the reasons that I feel very comfortable working in mountain conditions. Moved to Sandpoint in 1984, finding it very similar to the high country of Colorado. We have been building at Schweitzer Mountain Resort since 1989, and yes, in the rest of Bonner County also.
